Linkage Type Disc Latch

- In this design, ‘push-plate’ is replaced with a linkage lever, so that the latch can be operated at a distance by connecting rod from a suitable handle
- There is also an outside locking lever, which connects to an exterior private lock
- Slam-action against loop-striker
- Striker loop engages with a slotted steel disc with 2-stage action, and is released by (outside) push-plate or (inside) latching lever
- Separate locking levers block operation of latch release
