Eclipse Lift & Turn Compression Latch

- The Eclipse lift & turn latches incorporate a rubber grommet which swells into a doughnut shape when the handle is folded into the recessed housing
- In the compressed state, the grommet is larger than the hole in the strike. So, it effectively “locks” the panel until the handle is lifted, relaxing the grommet and allowing it to pass through the strike hole
- This latch is very useful when temperature, noise or vibration are important considerations
- Easy installation with the use of the mounting bracket and 2 screws, which are provided. No external fasteners required and no weld marks to mar finish
- Eclipse latches can be assembled on finished panels. An oil-resistant flange gasket is also provided
- Produced with UV stabilized thermoplastic and stainless steel components, latch is suitable for extreme applications that deal with water including boats, campers, trailers, or outdoor containers
- Key-locking version is furnished with two keys
